"I love fresh ideas about everything". Adriana Siso founded her contemporary industrial design store in 2002 in Santa Fe, NM. With a background in Fine Arts, Adriana has been an innovator, bringing to the Santa Fe area, original and unique industrial design products by some of the most creative design firms in the world.

The first design partners Molecule worked with were Vitra Design Museum, Moooi, Cherner Chair, and other well-known national and international brands. Today it partners with other world-class manufacturers like Vondom, Loll Designs and Moroso.

Molecule operated out of a recycled and renovated shipping container building, the first of its kind in Santa Fe. Currently Molecule is available through the online store and by appointment.

Sustainability is an important area of interest and ongoing exploration for Molecule, which offers product lines with a focus on conservation and ecological stewardship. A recent alliance with the Vertical Aeroponic Growing System – Tower Garden, promises to offer a lot of inspiration in the growing field of aeroponics as the future of agriculture, industrial design at its best.

Founded in 2001 by superstar industrial designer Marcel Wanders and marketing genius Casper Vissers, Moooi is the leading brand of Dutch contemporary design. Additionally, Marcel Wanders works on architectural and interior design projects and recently turned his hand to consumer home appliances. His fame started with the iconic Knotted Chair, which was produced for Droog Design in 1996, the conceptual Dutch design firm. Marcel also designs for the biggest European contemporary design manufacturers like B&B Italia, Bisazza, Poliform, Moroso, Flos, Boffi, Baccarat, Cappellini, and many more. He exhibits widely and his work is included in such significant museum collections as MoMA New York, The Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, and the V&A Museum, London. Wanders has further published numerous books and is extensively profiled in the global media, appearing in such publications as the New York Times, Domus, The Financial Times, and Wallpaper Magazine.

The company—whose name is inspired by Moooi, the Dutch word for beautiful— brings a fresh, humorous approach to lighting, furniture, and accessories. The third (o) was added to emphasize an extra value to the concept of uniqueness and beauty. In addition to Marcel Wanders’ designs, Moooi manufactures works for other nationally and internationally recognized designers, like Piet Boon, Maarten Baas (Smoke Chair), Front Design Group (Blow Away Vase & Sketch Furniture), Bertjan Pot, Jasper Morrison to name a few.

One of Moooi’s philosophies is to turn around classical approaches and shapes into new ideas that reflect the evolution of things, like in Gothic Chair, by Studio Job, who transform the romantic wooden piece into an ironic cartoon-like modern-day furniture in bright polyethylene colors, “a robust ode to the medieval”.

Also, local Santa Fe artist Cheri Ibes, will be offering some of her artworks which will be on display.
