"I love fresh ideas about everything". Adriana Siso founded her contemporary industrial design store in 2002 in Santa Fe, NM. With a background in Fine Arts, Adriana has been an innovator, bringing to the Santa Fe area, original and unique industrial design products by some of the most creative design firms in the world.

The first design partners Molecule worked with were Vitra Design Museum, Moooi, Cherner Chair, and other well-known national and international brands. Today it partners with other world-class manufacturers like Vondom, Loll Designs and Moroso.

Molecule operated out of a recycled and renovated shipping container building, the first of its kind in Santa Fe. Currently Molecule is available through the online store and by appointment.

Sustainability is an important area of interest and ongoing exploration for Molecule, which offers product lines with a focus on conservation and ecological stewardship. A recent alliance with the Vertical Aeroponic Growing System – Tower Garden, promises to offer a lot of inspiration in the growing field of aeroponics as the future of agriculture, industrial design at its best.

Molecule will be featuring new works by 3 amazing designers:

We’re very proud to introduce new works by Matthew Hilton from England, manufactured by De La Espada, from Portugal. We’ll have a few strong pieces on display. De La Espada makes high end, beautifully executed furniture in harvested walnuts and oaks. Matthew Hilton is one of the most important industrial designers in England.

Also, Miguel & Rodney Nelson’s -Woolly Pocket- sustainable Table Planters, US-made, are excellent seasonal gardening options. Woolly produces other pockets for vertical live walls and outdoor/indoor garden meadows, besides they are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles!

Damian Velasquez expanded metal chair

Our next feature will be expanded metal outdoor furniture, also US-made, by our own Damian Velasquez from Albuquerque. Damian makes his pieces in steel and powder coats them in different colors. They can also be used indoors for colorful sculptural accents.

We’ll do a Woolly Pocket Table Planter Give Away for the first hour. So come by early to get one! These feel like wool and have a non-leak insert. They are made by 100% recycled plastic bottles.

For entertainment we will be delighted to have our own Chuscales (Jose Valle Fajardo), originally from Antequera , Spain, a guitarist of consummate skill and understanding of Flamenco Music, playing this time with fiery and versatile Venezuelan percussionist Alex Perez, that comes from a tradition of latin and african rhythms, as well as jazz. Marco Topo, born in Milano, Italy and living in Santa Fe, will be joining them for an improv session named: Iberika Fusion.
