Our Green Molecule / Woolly School Program is a partnership between us and Woolly Pocket, the manufacturer of the famous Woolly Pocket and the Living Planter2. We will be donating a planter system on an annual basis, if we find receptivity to the program. Our 2016 recipient is Mother Nature Center, in Santa Fe, NM. This focus will be followed by continued work with qualifying schools, after school programs and nonprofits. https://mothernaturecenter.org.
The program consists of enough breathable, self watering planters to cover up to 50 sq ft of wall or fence. Living Wall Planter 2, Woolly’s best ever living wall system, may easily be brought to a table where young students can conveniently garden individually or in teams. When finished, students simply hang their planters back up in the garden. A Nutrition and Gardening Curriculum is included and makes it easy for any teacher to incorporate the lessons in to the classroom. Teach life sciences, math and geometry, while teaching your students about gardening, food and nutrition. Extra Green- Woolly Pocket makes Living Wall Planter 2 in California from 100% post consumer recycled milk jugs (HDPE 2). Not only does California have strict environmental laws, HDPE 2 is known to be one of the safest plastics for food contact (growing yummy organic edibles) and contains no traceable amounts of Phthalates or BPA.
